Who We Are

What We Do

At Valleys to Peaks, what we do is simple to say—but powerful in practice: we work together to help you navigate life with more clarity, confidence, and support.

Our services include both coaching and advocacy, because we believe people don’t need to be “fixed”—they need tools, systems, and someone in their corner.

Here’s what that can look like:

  • Coaching support through personal growth, career transitions, mindset training, and systems development—so you can build sustainable habits, reduce overwhelm, and create a life that works with your brain (not against it).

  • Advocacy support through care advocacy, mental health services navigation, medical scheduling management, and organizational services—so you don’t have to carry the full burden of complicated systems, exhausting admin, or appointments that already take too much out of you.

We recognize that navigating healthcare, mental health services, executive-function challenges, and daily life logistics can be draining—especially when you’re already doing your best. Our approach is collaborative and client-centered. You already have strengths and capabilities; our role is to help you access them more consistently, build structure where you need it, and feel truly supported while you move forward.

A quick and important note about our boundaries: this is NOT therapy and NOT medical advice. We’re coaches and advocates—not clinicians—and we’re always transparent about what we do and don’t provide. What we can offer is clear strategy, grounded support, and practical systems that make your next steps feel doable.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired of trying to climb alone, you’re in the right place. At Valleys to Peaks, we’ll take this one step at a time—together.

How We Got Here

Brian’s path to founding Valleys To Peaks NeuroLife Coaching, LLC didn’t come from a straight line—it came from a life lived through sharp turns, hard valleys, and the kind of learning you only get by having to rebuild more than once.

Over the years, Brian worked a wide range of jobs—barn manager, coffee shop manager, truck driver, bus driver, logistics coordinator. But the real throughline wasn’t the job titles. It was the responsibility. Again and again, he became the person others looked to when things were complicated—when plans changed, when pressure rose, and when the “usual way” didn’t work anymore.

And then life demanded that same kind of problem-solving from him personally.

There were major disruptions that couldn’t be powered through with grit alone: being involved in a serious truck accident, learning to live with significant mental health diagnoses, undergoing more than 20 surgeries while managing chronic illness, and even the upheaval of returning to school after a decade—only to step away so he could focus on mold damage after Hurricane Helene, and ultimately being forced to move because repairs his home needed weren’t worth the cost. Those experiences weren’t just “setbacks.” They were repeated moments of having to figure out how to keep going when the map you’re given doesn’t match the terrain you’re walking.

Over time, those valleys shaped a set of beliefs that became the backbone of Valleys To Peaks:

There’s more than one way to reach a goal. The most common path isn’t always the best option for every brain, every body, or every life. Being resilient doesn’t mean being emotionless. Learning doesn’t stop just because life gets hard. And even the “best” system in the world won’t help if it doesn’t fit you—because if you won’t use it, it can’t support you.

That’s where the idea for Valleys To Peaks began to solidify: not as a plan to “fix” people, but as a commitment to walk beside them—with practical tools, real clarity, and compassionate support. Valleys To Peaks exists to help people navigate life with more confidence and less overwhelm, through a combination of coaching and advocacy.

Because sometimes what you need is coaching—personal growth, career transitions, mindset training, or systems development—so you can build sustainable habits and create a life that works with your brain, not against it. And sometimes what you need is advocacy—support navigating healthcare, mental health services, scheduling, and complicated systems that already take too much out of you. Not because you’re incapable, but because carrying everything alone was never supposed to be the price of getting help.

At the heart of it all is the mission: Valleys To Peaks believes in the transformative power of personal growth and compassionate support—and exists to help individuals navigate life’s challenges by fostering resilience, clarity, and motivation through coaching and advocacy. The approach is collaborative, built on partnership, and grounded in the belief that clients can overcome obstacles and unlock their potential with the right support and strategies.

Brian’s dream for Valleys To Peaks is right there in the name: to help reduce whatever resistance is keeping someone stuck in the valley—and to climb with them toward the peaks. Not with hype. Not with pressure. With steady footing, practical systems, and someone in your corner—one step at a time, together.

And even the logo carries that origin with it: inspired by the view of Whitetop Mountain in the Virginia Highlands and Brian’s trail name, “The Billy Goat”—a reminder that the right path, the right support, and steady progress can take you farther than you think.

Our Team.

The faces behind Valleys To Peaks—bringing clear, practical support and a steady presence when life feels overwhelming.

No fixing, no judgment—just partnership that helps you move forward, one step at a time.
